Postnasal Drip
SYMPTOMS may include coughing and repeated attempts to clear the throat.
CAUSES are usually from mucus secretion, by nasal glands, being drawn back
into the throat. This is usually a habit. The secretion should be allowed
to drain through the nose. It may also be from an allergy, infection of the
sinus and dust or other nose irritation.
TREATMENT. Sleep in humidified room or use of a vaporizer.
.Increased gentle blowing of the nose.
.Avoid drawing the secretions into the throat.
